I’m Moguharu, a mole born in 2020 living in
Kagurazaka!
Sometimes, I come out of the ground to
meet everyone in the town.
There are many of my fellow moles living underground,
and we move around the many alleys of Kagurazaka
with ease!
About my name
The ‘Mogu’ in Moguharu means ‘mole,’
and it also represents the act of eating a lot, like ‘mogu mogu.’
The ‘Haru’ in Moguharu signifies my desire to be a presence
that warms people’s hearts and helps everyone blossom, like flowers in spring.
That’s why I’ve included ‘Haru,’ which represents the season of blooming.

My color
My hands, feet, and nose are based on the color of
‘kuwa no mi’ (mulberry fruit),
which is a traditional Japanese color in a shade of purple.
This deep purple color evokes various impressions,
such as elegance, nobility,
sensitivity, and luster, symbolizing
the diverse personalities
and characteristics of us Moguharu.
My Activities
I’m sharing my activities on social media platforms like Instagram, X, and YouTube,
and I’m participating in events in Kagurazaka!
I really cherish the time I get to meet everyone. Especially on X,
I post every day for 365 days with the hope that
‘everyone can spend today feeling enriched and happy.’
I hope to connect with many people!
